Dr. Laurence Jay-Rayon Ibrahim Aibo has been translating, teaching, and interpreting in the Americas, Europe, and Africa for the past 30 years, and teaching translation since 2013. A recognized language professional, she is an OTTIAQ certified translator in the Province of Quebec and a CoreCHI certified healthcare interpreter and ATA-credentialed interpreter in the United States. She is also a translator and interpreter trainer and curriculum developer with many continuing education organizations in the U.S. and Canada. Dr. Ibrahim Aibo currently teaches in the Online Certificate in Professional Translation and Interpreting at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and in the online MS in Translation & Interpreting at NYU.
